Iyengar Yoga Classes in Hexham
Saturday mornings at the Moot Hall. Mixed level, beginners welcome.
One class, open to everyone
I teach mixed-level classes where students can work together while receiving appropriate options and adaptations depending on their experience and ability, so however new or experienced you are, you'll be working at the right level for you.

Clear instruction, real understanding
My classes encourage you to understand the actions within each pose, helping you develop strength, flexibility, balance and confidence with a greater awareness of how your body works.
Classes are relatively small, which allows me to observe students and offer guidance where needed. People come to class for many different reasons: improving strength, flexibility, posture, mobility, balance and general wellbeing.
What to Expect at Your First Class
Starting a new class can feel daunting. Here's what a first Saturday morning looks like.
Before You Arrive
Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. It's a good idea to arrive a few minutes early for your first class so you can get settled and say hello.
During Class
Classes are mixed-level, so you'll be given options suited to your experience. Iyengar Yoga makes good use of props, so nothing is expected to be "perfect" from day one.
Any Questions First?
If you have an injury, health condition, or you're simply not sure if the class is right for you, contact Andrew by phone or email beforehand, and he's happy to help.
Mats and props are all provided, but you're welcome to bring your own if you'd prefer.
